In Fall 2018, Jennifer Wong-Ma joined the UC Irvine Computer Science Department as a Associate Teaching Professor, SOE.
Prior to joing UCIrvine, she was a teaching faculty, an undergraduate academic advisor, and the 5-year BS/MS program advisor in the Computer Science Department at Stony Brook University. She mainly taught sophomore and junior level Computer Science systems and architecture courses. Wong-Ma received the CS Department Award for Undergraduate Education in 2012 and CS Department Award for Major Contributions to Undergraduate Education in 2016.
She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from UCLA. Her research interests include wireless and distributed embedded systems, hardware intellectual property protection, and statistical optimization.
Wong-Ma enjoys traveling, baking, paper crafts, and family life with my husband and two boys.
