Alberto Krone-Martins has a fascination for astroinformatics, astrometry, astrostatistics, and space-missions. He received a double-degree Ph.D. in Astronomy, Astrophysics & Particles from the Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil) and Université de Bordeaux (France), and between 2011 and 2019 he worked at the Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal) in a multidisciplinary group that brings together astronomers, physicists and engineers (hardware and software) called CENTRA/SIM. Before that, Krone-Martins graduated in classical Piano at the Conservatório Musical Anchieta, in São Paulo, and received an MSc in Astrophysics and a BSc in Physics from the Universidade de São Paulo.
