ICS Triumphs in Second Annual Battle of the Deans!

In the inaugural Battle of the Deans trivia contest, Dean Austen Parrish from School of Law faced off against Dean Magnus Egerstedt from The Henry Samueli School of Engineering, with Dean Egerstedt’s trivia troupe securing the championship title.
On Oct. 3, 2024, a new contender entered the ring to challenge Engineering: Dean Marios Papaefthymiou from the Donald Bren School of Information & Computer Sciences. He gathered the best trivia team on this side of Aldrich Park, and, supported by a crowd of alumni, colleagues, and a growing number of interested bystanders, ICS emerged victorious!
The team of six ICS representatives included faculty, staff, and two alumni, with question topics ranging from tea and citrus fruits to a variety of music genres and UC school mascots.
It was a night of trivia fun, school spirit and friendly rivalry, with ICS bringing home the trophy and being crowned the new UCI trivia champions.
