Alex Thornton

Alex is an award-winning university lecturer with extensive professional software development experience. The realities he sees in that professional work drive him to infuse all of his courses with that same realism wherever possible, putting students’ work into an intensely practical context, and to show students that they can accomplish a lot, sometimes even with relatively meager skills.
