The ICS Tutoring Center provides tutoring services for lower-division ICS courses. Visit tutoring.ics.uci.edu for details.

At the start of the new academic year, the UCI Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences (ICS) launched the ICS Tutoring Hub, providing students with additional academic support to enhance their success.

The ICS Tutoring Hub, a collaboration between Computer Science Professor Shannon Alfaro and ICS Stacey Nicholas Office of Outreach, Access, & Inclusion (OAI), centralizes all tutoring services.

“We recognize the need for tailored academic support to meet students’ diverse needs,” says Vinh Luong, Assistant Director of the ICS Stacey Nicholas Office of OAI.

Students can choose between small group tutoring or individual tutoring, both led by pedagogically-trained ICS students, for lower-division ICS courses at no cost.

The ICS Tutoring Hub also highlights various academic and non-academic support resources, such as the Learning and Academic Resource Center, UCI Basics Needs Center and ICS Office of OAI.

Tutoring services began week 2 of the fall 2024 quarter. For more information, visit the ICS Tutoring Hub. Students can also download the new ZotPass app for information about tutoring services across campus, including ICS tutoring.
