Netherlands. Amsterdam. Metal fixture in pavement. The "XXX" is a symbol of the City of Amsterdam (they're St. Andrew's crosses; he was a fisherman and Amsterdam was a maritime city). It dates back to 1500 and has nothing to do with adult entertainment.
