This quarter in ICS 131 you will submit each assignment in two ways:
It is important that you submit each assignment in both ways, unless we say otherwise, because we might use either version for grading. If you have technical difficulties with the electronic submissions, let us know by Email right away.

Web-based submission at checkmate.ics.uci.edu: Go to checkmate.ics.uci.edu, log in using your UCInet ID, and follow the instructions there to submit your work.
The Checkmate system is still under development. It was used by actual classes in Spring and Summer 2002 without any significant trouble, but you may still encounter outages, unexpected behavior, unclear error messages, and so on. If you have any reason to believe that the system isn't working as it should, read the instructions carefully, try it a second time, and if you're still having difficulty, send a message to checkmate@uci.edu describing the problem as precisely as possible. If you keep us informed about problems in a timely way and your submissions on paper are on time and complete, we will make sure that problems in the Checkmate system don't affect your grade.
