"If you are the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room."
I'm still in the right room.

PhD Research

I am a fourth year PhD Candidate in the Department of Computer Science at UC Irvine. I am a member of TrussLab, supervised by Associate Professor Ardalan Amiri Sani.
I study System Security through Continuous Fuzzing. My current project Loom is trying to reliably reproduce concurrency bugs in Linux through an egregious misuse of the eBPF subsystem.

Education

I ascended to candidacy in May of 2024, where I presented my work on SyzRetrospector and Loom.

At UC Irvine I majored in Computer Science and specialized in Networked Systems. I received my B.S. Magna Cum Laude in 2021.

I graduated with honors from Diablo Valley College in 2019. I triple-majored in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics, receiving an Associate of Science degree in each field.

Interests

Tangent to my current research, I'm teaching myself offensive security techniques through pwnable.kr and gralhix.com (writeups soon hopefully?), as well as lockpicking.

Tangent to anything academic, I have over a decade (non-contiguous) experience playing tuba and classical recorders, and of course I play videogames.
Rock and Stone!
