1.7.1 Request for Comments (RFCs)

nAll Internet related standards are published as RFCs. nAn RFC index indicates the latest version of an RFC. nAn RFC, called the IAB Official Protocol Standards, specifies the status of all the RFCs, i.e., whether or not it is a standard, and what its recommendation is.
