The Uscher & Hena/Anna Wald Family


Uscher (8 Oct 1845 - ?), son of Elkana Wald & Beila [her death is recorded at Revleanyvar on 15 Apr 1884 at age 70], was born in Sztropkov, Slovakia. He was married to Hena/Anna Muller/Milder and they had seven known children. In some of the LDS Records, she is listed as being born in Malcov. The 1869 census gives her year of birth as 1845. It was thought perhaps she was a child of Pesach Dovid, or another unknown couple (Moses & Rachlya or Samuel & Scheindel). Per the 1848 and 1857 census detail below, some families are both Muller and Milder. Perhaps it is a transcription issue, which can be determined once the records are readily available. Her marriage of 6 May 1865 names her as Hene Miller, age 22, of Malzo, daughter of Samuel Leib and Rechel Leja.

  • Moric (15 Feb 1878 - ?), was born in Revleanyvar (Kiralyhelmecz, Bodrogkoz, Zemplen), Slovakia (S A Ujhely Archive).

  • Israel (23 Dec 1879 - ?), was born in Revleanyvar (Kiralyhelmecz, Bodrogkoz, Zemplen), Slovakia (S A Ujhely Archive).
