What changes did you make in this course based on previous assessment results?

1. CSE 112 was established as a prerequisite to CSE 151. 2. CSE151 was split from EECS 115 in order to accommodate the different backgrounds of Computer Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering students. 3. An introduction to transistors and circuits was added to fill the void in the students’ background.

What recommendations do you have for improving the course the next time it is taught?

Use a rubric to better assess based on indicators rather than program outcomes.

What recommendations do you have, if any, regarding prerequisite courses or other ways to improve student preparation for this course?

Move CSE 151 to the winter quarter in order to allow students to take CSE 112 (prerequisite) in the Fall quarter.

Any other recommendations or comments?

Since CSE 151 does not use programming tools, indicator k2 is best not assessed in this course.
