UC IRVINE - ICS 125 PROJECT IN SYSTEM DESIGN

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Course Syllubus Process

Client: Greg Bolcer (Graduate Research Assistant)

Summary

Students would create a forms-based process for faculty members to create and annotate course syllubi on the World Wide Web (WWW).

Description

Many faculty members have a problem with the process of getting a syllabus up for their class on the WWW and annotate it throughout the course of a quarter. This project would create a forms-based Endeavors process for creating and changing a class syllabus. This is similar to the content creation project being done for Sun Computer's JavaBrain stuff. The technologies students would use might be Endeavors and WebDAV.
