Incoming Transfer & 2nd Baccalaureate Students

This is the date you will be registering for your Fall courses. Course registration will start at 10:00am PDT on this date.

Sign Up Form requires the following:

1. Unofficial copy of your college transcripts (Required)
2. Copy of IGETC (optional). If you do not have an IGETC, you can ignore this section of the registration.
3. AP/IB Test Scores (optional)

Please note:

• You will not be able to register prior to your chosen course registration date.
• You will see an “academic hold” on your Student Access account. This is normal and will automatically be removed on the day of your registration date.

This page contains information about transferring credits for courses in your major only. Apply for General Education requirements in the Fall.

If the outside courses were completed at a California Community College (CCC), check assist.org to see if you are guaranteed approval through our articulation agreements with the CCCs.

• Note: If an articulation applies to a series of courses, students must complete the entire series as listed at ONE community college to get automatic approval. The agreement does not apply to a series of courses taken at more than one college.

If your request is covered by a CCC articulation agreement, you can proceed to submitting test scores and transcripts .

If your request is not covered by a CCC articulation agreement, then submit an ICS Transfer Credit Pre-Check Form in the box below. Note that this holds for all courses taken outside the CCC system.

You must be currently enrolled in the courses outside UCI or have taken them within the last two years. The form will require appropriate documentation.

The form will require a syllabus with the following information:

1. Course Description
2. Weekly Topics
3. Student Learning Outcomes
4. Syllabus information
5. Breakdown of Grades

We will accept submissions from May 4th at 8:00 AM until August 28th at 5:00 PM. Students should ONLY submit ONE form per course requested for syllabus review.

1. Submit official high school and college transcripts to UCI Admissions. Deadline: July 1
2. Submit all AP/IB/A-Levels other exam scores to UCI Admissions. Deadline: July 15
3. 2025 A-levels (if applicable). Deadline: September 1

An admissions hold may prevent you from attending orientation or registering for courses. Visit the Message Center at your UCI Applicant Portal homepage to see messages about missing documents or to communicate with your Admissions Counselor.

UCI Writing Placement Portfolio is required for any student who does not have 1 full year of lower division college level writing. If you have an IGETC or completed two semesters of lower division writing at your previous college you do not need to submit this. Information can be found through the UCI Testing Center.

2. This learning module walks you through how to use WebReg and the Schedule of Classes (videos and content courtesy of Lauren Bermudez from U/U).
3. Complete Canvas Modules. You will receive an email when modules are available. We recommend you complete all modules by the start of Fall.
